Among some of the most important documents to Lithuanian culture and history of literature are the early monuments of Lithuanian print along with the literary heritage of classical Lithuanian writers. Most of the material here are religious texts or works dedicated to the Lithuanian language – grammar, dictionaries, catechisms – as well as correspondence of various authors and their literary input, which is undoubtedly an important part of Lithuanian cultural heritage.
